Yin Yin Yang Yang — Smoke (boy-Seal Point on the left) and Mist (girl-Chocolate Point) our Siamese brother and sister
Mist and Smoke
Mist and Smoke “replaced” Magic and Merlin in our home six months later. We brought them home at the age of
eight weeks and this picture of them was taken two weeks later. They still try to sit in my lap together but don’t fit very well (not to mention that they are quite a bit heavier at fourteen months old).
Pets still–only in our hearts–Magic and Merlin
Magic and Merlin, my wife’s “Burmese boys,” died last year ten days apart. Merlin, fifteen years old, died of cancer
and Magic, eighteen years old, died of stress and loneliness ten days later. Here are Merlin, in the red collar, and Magic sitting on a warm cable tv box in our dining/work room.
The lovebirds were not afraid of the cats. Indeed, they tried to bite the cats whenever they climbed on their cage. Merlin often sat on top and dangled his tail for the birds to try to bite. A “cat toy” for the birds.
